We at Enborne Equestrian Centre are happy to teach riders from complete beginners, nervous riders through to the more experienced wishing to improve their dressage and show jumping skills. We are a fun and friendly centre with a good selection of horses and ponies to suit each riders specific needs and goals. We will also teach people on their own horses.

There is no minimum age for learning to ride.

Pony Club Centre & Pony Mornings

We are an approved pony club centre. Join the pony club and borrow one of our ponies. Each Thursday morning throughout the summer holidays we offer the opportunity to join us and have fun, learn about stable management and improve your childs knowledge in the care of a pony.

On these mornings you can gain Pony Club achievement badges in many different aspects of pony care and work towards progressive riding tests.

These mornings include an hours riding.

Little Ones: 10:00 – 1:00

Hoof – Take Back The Reins

Get back into or take up horse riding.

Rekindle or discover the joy of climbing into the saddle and forgetting your worries, building a relationship with a horse and soaking up the fresh air and countryside… Wherever life has taken you, find a little ‘me time’ to unlock that feeling and ‘take back the reins’

It’s never too late to discover or re-discover your love of horses, pick up that journey and enjoy riding…

We are offering 7 lessons over the course of 7 weeks for £( on application)  These will either be half hour privates or hour groups.

For beginner riders who have never ridden, ‘take back the reins’ will see you well on the way to being able to walk and trot confidently without a lead rein. If you have some experience then a few refresher lessons could get you ‘saddling up’ and confident enough to ride out with a group of friends. If your happy this might include canters too. This course is only available during the day during the week at the moment.

Wayfarers Rides Out

On the second and fourth Sunday of every month , we do a fabulous 2 hour hack. We go to places like Wayfarers, or Inkpen and go for a 2 hour hack where we can take in the beautiful scenery and admire the stunning countryside. This is a ladies hack where we mainly walk and trot with a couple of steady canters.

Must be able to walk, trot and canter and have an assessment lesson with us first.

Shows

We run regular shows here at Enborne Equestrian Centre and we offer our regular riders the opportunity to hire a horse for the day to compete. Giving the non horse owner the opportunity to attend shows. This not only improves your riding but gives you goals to work towards in your lessons.

Horse & Pony Loans

Ever wanted a half way house between the riding school and owning your own horse or pony? We offer part loans of horses and ponies for the over 12’s. Horses/ Ponies must be kept here and will be used in the school as well. The packages are very much tailor made to the individual. As part of the package you will receive at least 1 lesson a week.

Here at Enborne we like our groups to be small (generally a maximum of 6), well matched, both in age and ability.

Please note that all lesson changes must be requested at least 48 hours before the start of the lesson. If not we will not be able to change the lesson. No refunds will be given on any monthly payments as this is a commitment for the month. Any individual group lessons will be charged at £45 (either before starting monthly plan or at end )

We reserve the right to make any lesson a hack especially if the weather is too hot or if it is rainy as our lanes are very sheltered. In the event of very bad weather (when it may be dangerous to ride – smaller children in particular) we reserve the right to make lessons into stable management lessons and no refunds will be given.
